Vulnerability found this amusing authors of the notorious Arab site iPhoneIslam. It took me a while to figure it out, but now everything fell into place. In a nutshell, on the iPhone with firmware 5.0.1 you can bypass the digital password.
If you really want to reproduce the vulnerability, please be complete sets of tools to extract the SIM-card and patience :
If you have not enabled the password, enable it in Settings → General → Password protection;
Lock your phone by pressing the Power;
Call it from another phone, wait, that was a challenge, and then drop it. On the iPhone screen will display a notification about the missed call;
Remove the SIM-card tray with a complete "pins";
The fun begins. When you insert the tray in the upper left corner a couple of seconds will be displayed, "No SIM-card," and then place it will be the status of "Search ...". Your task - to bring the green slider missed call to the right edge of the display at the very moment when the labels are replaced by each other;
On the screen there the message "Could not get through." Press the big button "Finish".
If on the fifth step, everything was done correctly, you will get the standard phone application. On it you can move freely edit the contact list, to study favorites. Even the call, and call all the keys are functional, too! However, after the call, you will find yourself back on the lock screen.
